Or you may be a keen lucky beginner ready to kick-start your journey.  \n  \nWe are proud to present the teachers: \nDouglas Bullock\, a well-known pioneer and Permaculturist\, actively involved with design\, education\, and site development for over 40 years. \nDoug´s home on Orcas Island\, Washington\, is widely regarded as one of the most mature\, well-functioning Permaculture systems in North America. \nDouglas has worked internationally across U.S.\, Latin America\, Europe and the Pacific\, teaching in fields like design\, tree crops and nursery\, small and large-scale wetland environments\, appropriate energy technologies and more. \nHe has a passion in seeing the full-scale design implemented successfully. He has his Permaculture-experience from family farming projects in Thailand\, Hawaii and now in Norway. \nHe has acquired much knowledge on straw-bale building and forest gardening.\nRobin thinks Permaculture is a powerful package of wisdom that affects all aspects of life\, and that an empathic connection with self and others is key to a successful design. \nCurrently he is running Efferus.no\, a forest-garden information-site and plant sale. \nAs a certified CNVC trainer he also offers weekend empathy-workshops. \n  \nThe venue: \nHolt Gård is a beautiful\, diverse\, small-scale organic farm. \nThe idealistic and hardworking owners\, Roar and Rakel\, have shown in a time-proven way that wholistic farming can be economically sound. They have created a peaceful and harmonious environment for enjoyment and growth. Kindergartens\, school classes\, families and other groups have been visiting since the early 90’s. Every weekend the farm is open for visitors who want to see the animals\, play in the barn and enjoy nature and other happenings throughout the year. \nHolt Gård is also the location of a CSA\, providing vegetables for local families as well as the farm’s café and kitchen. The farm´s dairy produces a popular yogurt\, ice cream\, and cheese. These products\, along with their meat and eggs\, are sold in their little shop. \nThe next generation\, soon to take over the farm\, is eager to continue shaping the land and the project in a sustainable way. With this as a setting\, the farm will be a great playground where we can dive in with design creativity and get our hands dirty!\nwww.holtgard.no \n  \nIn participating in this course\, you will deepen your knowledge\, experience\, and cultivate inspiration with most subjects in your permaculture journey. \nWe will have a practical approach to the design of gardens\, nurseries\, orchards\, edges\, food-forests\, ponds\, and wetlands with water storage and purification methods. Livestock and wildlife will also be subjects of focus.\nAs we have an eco-village on our premises\, we will also investigate how to implement energy technologies and urban strategies for a sustainable living. \nWe can promise a well-organized course with a good variety of approaches and pedagogic methods like lectures\, slideshows\, handouts\, hands-on projects\, demonstrations\, walk-and-talks. There will also be local guest-speakers presenting their different areas of expertise. \n  \nAt the completion of the course\, you will receive your PDC certificate. \n  \nPrice: \nEarly-bird before the 15th of May: 15.900 NOK \nStandard after the 15th of May: 17.900 NOK \nPrice includes three nourishing\, home-made meals a day – sourced mostly from our organic garden\, animals\, and dairy. DESCRIPTION:Heldagsseminar 30. september: Vitalitet – fra jord til mage med Jens-Otto Andersen på Opaker Gård i Kirkenær kl 9.30- 16.30\nSeminaret blir både teoretisk og praktisk litt avhengig av været. Siden andre verdenskrig har matens vitalitet\, det vil si dens evne til å bidra til helsen vår\, gradvis blitt svekket\, en utvikling de færreste er klar over. Den offentlige debatten fokuserer vanligvis på noen få næringsstoffer og på forskjellen mellom konvensjonell og økologisk mat. Dermed overser vi viktigheten av vitalitetsegenskaper\, varianter og bearbeiding for næringsverdien. Dette seminaret fokuserer på fenomenet vitalitet\, hvordan vi kan få vitalitet på tallerkenen og forskjellen på konvensjonell\, økologisk og biodynamisk mat. Jens-Otto Andersen utdannet bonde og agronom med doktorgrad fra Landbruksuniversitetet. Siden 1997 forsknings-koordinator ved Biodynamisk Forskningsforening. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to this first collaboration between Rosemary Morrow\, Alfred Decker and their fantastic teaching team\, and the Permaculture Association of Britain – and come join us an accessible and inspiring online teacher training! \nThe Permaculture Teacher Training (PTT) is an international training offered in English and designed by the internationally-renowned teacher Rosemary Morrow\, in which the content and teaching of permaculture coincide harmoniously with the ethics. Committed to furthering the PTT course that Rosemary developed in over three decades of teaching experience around the world\, Alfred facilitated more than a dozen PTT courses as lead facilitator\, co-edited the PTT manual\, and organised a successful crowdfunding campaign to develop the platform. DESCRIPTION:Å leve bærekraftig med trygg økonomi kan være en utfordring. Et godt liv er også fravær av økonomiske problemer og evne til å verdsette sitt eget arbeid i lys av etikken «rettferdig fordeling.» \nGår du med en gründer i magen eller har du et lite firma i tillegg til ordinær jobb? Ønsker du i større grad å leve av din permakulturdrøm? Hva er lønnsomhet? Hva er soliditet? Hva er vårt marked? \nForedraget skal inspirere til at du kan oppnå den avkastningen som er rettferdig for deg\, forankret i omsorg for jorda og mennesker rundt deg. Vi benytter de 12 permakulturprinsippene med økonomibrillene på og drøfter ulike løsninger for deltagerne. \nAnne Marit Skovly er daglig leder av Hvaler Gjestehage og Geodome Norge AS. Hun er opptatt av lagspill med naturen og har de siste 14 årene utviklet Hvaler Gjestehage til en økologisk opplevelseshage med plantesalg\, vandreforedrag\, kurs og arrangementer. Gjestehagen er også en visningshage for egenproduserte geodomer som tilbys kunder som byggesett. \nI gjestehagen er det økologiske kretsløpet stadig under utvikling med matskog\, høner\, bier\, ender og kjøkkenhage. Hun er opptatt av prinsippet “fra vugge til vugge” – alt avfall går tilbake til nytt liv. Anne Marit mottok hagekulturprisen fra Det norske Hageselskap i fjor for sitt arbeide med hagebruket og sin evne til formidling. \nHun liker svært godt å ta i mot gjester og tilbyr vandreforedrag for grupper\, hun reiser også mye rundt og holder foredrag for alle som er opptatt av selvforsyning og naturlige løsninger (permakultur).
